Membership Benefits

By becoming a member of the Bloomington Chamber you’ve made an important investment in your business. Thanks to that investment, you can realize these benefits…and more!

Business-After-Hours events (BAH) - You and your employees can increase your business leads at the Chamber’s BAH events. Ultimately it’s not about who you know, but who knows you.  Networking is the single most powerful marketing tool.  BAH usually takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:30pm.  You will receive an email with upcoming BAH details each month.

Market directly to Chamber Businesses by utilizing the Chamber’s Member to Member (M2M) e-mail. An effective communication tool to promote your products and services.  This benefit offers you a way to get your advertisement in front of nearly 1,000 fellow Chamber members.  There is an exclusive offer for new Chamber members at $200 for your first M2M e-mail.

Use the Chamber’s Bulk Mail Permit to save $$$ & time on your Mailings. The Bulk Mail offer is available when mailing 200+ like print pieces.

Get Free Publicity in the Chamber’s publications - Membership Matters and Business Network.  The Chamber’s electronic newsletter,  Membership Matters  is sent via e-mail each month to over 1,000 members.  Business Network is distributed monthly in the Herald Times.  You get free publicity when you hire, promote, get new certifications, awards, etc. when submitting info for publication. Upon joining, you will get a brief article and your businesses photo and/or logo in the Business Network publication.

Save $$$ on Office Supplies with our Office Depot discount program. Whether you shop online or in the store you and your employees can save on the office supplies you use at work and home.

Enjoy Additional Networking Opportunities by becoming involved on a Committee. The Chamber offers numerous opportunities for volunteering on committees, task forces or special projects that are important to Chamber members and the community at large.

Provides you with a Business Voice and Represents your Interests to the Indiana legislature and local business community.

Increased Credibility associated with being part of the Chamber. Fortune magazine names its “100 Best Companies to Work For” each year.  Statistically, more than three-quarters of those companies named are members of their local Chambers.  Reputable companies are Chamber members and recognized as such by consumers.
